On a piece of wooded land on the campus of the Kalamazoo University in Michigan, studio gang architects designed and built the Arcus Social Justice Research Center. The building does not possess the grandeur of the punctured skyline. Its intense dynamics and exaggerated strength also have nothing to do with it. It does not depend on the dazzling titanium plate and glass curtain wall to capture the eye. It is just gently standing on the George style brick. Build a side of the building, moderate and peaceful. The 10,000-square-foot building was conceived as a meeting point, and the building volume showed radiation in three directions while creating two entrances into the building. Three arc-shaped walls with slightly concave interiors are connected in series with three end points. The latter is designed as three large viewing windows. People can view the surroundings from different directions: university campus, residential area and a large old forest.
