There are always some forerunners on the way to China’s original picture book. From the idea to the concrete realization, it seems that across the distance, this distance requires a passionate ideal children’s books to continue to narrow. In 2012, Li Jie, a Canadian resident, wanted to buy some Chinese children’s books in order to teach her daughter Chinese. He was disappointed to find that most of the domestic Chinese picture books are overseas translations, and the original Chinese picture books are hardly any trace. Dad, an engineer who graduated from Tsinghua University, began to ponder the question of whether he could give his daughter a different book for himself. Li Jie’s idea was immediately given full support by his old friend Li Lin.
