信号中的不连续性和瞬变现象常常携带着重要的信息.霍尔德(H)条件是用来描述函数正则性的.傅立叶变换是分析信号奇异性的传统方法.然而它只能反映信号正则性的整体状况,而不能确定奇异性的位置和大小.由于小波具有时 频局部性,因此与频域方法相比,小波方法更能有效地分析函数的局部正则性.
Discontinuities and transients in the signal often carry important information. The condition of Holt (H) is used to describe the regularity of a function.
