At the sixty-sixth session of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) held in Beijing from October 22 to November 1, 2002, China first sent experts to participate in the IEC’s newly established OLED project team. Participate in the development of OLED technology, international standards. Organic light-emitting display technology is recognized by the industry as the next 10-20 years possible to replace LCD partially, the most promising next-generation display technology. It has a number of advantages over LCDs: ultra-light, ultrathin (less than 2 mm thick), high brightness, wide viewing angle (up to 170 degrees), self-lighting (no backlight required), fast response (yes LCD 1000 times), high-definition, low energy consumption, low temperature characteristics, low manufacturing costs, can be soft display, so that in Japan, Europe and the United States is called a fantastic display technology, people expect to be able within 10 years
