The authors used double-blind crossover test method to study the new phlegm drug sodium 2-mercaptoethane sulfonate (HS-CH_2-CH_2-SO_3Na, also known as Mistabron). This product is a white powder, soluble in water, the aqueous solution or powder in nitrogen to maintain stability. Animal metabolism studies have shown that drugs are not excreted in the body in blood and tissue but rapidly through the urine.
