On June 8, 1972, Pan Jinshu, a 9-year-old girl near the Zhanpeng Highway on the 1st Highway burned by air petrol bombing and bombing, was surrounded by TV station staff and soldiers of South Vietnam. One South Vietnamese aircraft hit the suspected targets of the Viet Cong hideous air strike, but the burning of gasoline bombs into civilian villages. This work is by the world famous photographer Joe McNally in 1995. Joe was then looking for the legendary woman. Finally, I met Pan Jinshu in Toronto, Canada. Joe argues that if you shoot Pan like a normal woman, you lose the meaning you want to express. He tried to explain to Pan what he meant, and she eventually acquiesced. It happened that she was going to give her son, Thomas, a nurse, so a photo of a young child who lovingly embraced the back of a scared scar that exposed the war was born.
