我国当代艺术自上世纪七十年代末出现以来,一直受着西方主流文化艺术的影响,在艺术创作上传统文化所占的比重严重不足。随着近年来我国当代艺术的艺术实践与艺术表现都趋于成熟,越来越多的艺术工作者意识到我国传统文化元素对艺术创作的重要性,逐渐将中国传统文化元素同当代艺术创作融合。本文以魏光庆,尚扬等湖北当代艺术家的艺术作品为代表,简要分析了楚文化视觉元素是如何运用于在湖北当代艺术创作中。
Since the emergence of contemporary Chinese art in the late 1970s, it has always been influenced by the mainstream Western culture and art, where the proportion of traditional culture in the field of artistic creation is seriously insufficient. As the artistic practice and artistic expression of our country’s contemporary art have become mature in recent years, more and more artists are aware of the importance of our traditional culture elements to artistic creation and gradually integrate the elements of Chinese traditional culture with those of contemporary art . This article takes Wei Guangqing, Shang Yang and other works of art of Hubei contemporary artists as the representative, and briefly analyzes how the visual element of Chu culture is applied to the contemporary art creation in Hubei province.
