当前广州大学体育专业在办学上优劣势并存 ,为适应 2 1世纪体育发展的新要求 ,必须构建新的体系 .通过分析我国体育事业和体育产业的新发展 ,认为社会对体育专门人才需求的广度和深度有了质的变化 .结合广州大学体育专业人力、物力、办学效益等现状 ,提出了继续抓好体育教育专业建设 ,找准突破口 ,体现专业特色 ,利用广州大学作为市属综合性大学的资源优势开设新的专业和专业方向 ,走联合办学的发展道路 ,拓宽专业口径的构想 .并在管理架构、创新思路等方面提出了实施构想的建议 .
