Oksalus(1957)开始用超声波检查诊断视网膜脱离和鉴别各种类型的视网膜脱离。Ossoinings(1971)系统地介绍了超声波检查技术。在超声波检查时,脱离的视网膜在眼球后节呈现尖而高的波形,与眼球后壁的高波之间为一平段,在临床上相当于视网膜下积液部份,平段的长度相当于视网膜脱离的高度。Ossoinings(1972)报导,视网膜脱离的高度超过0.7mm、宽度超过0.2~0.5mm就可用超声波诊断出来。本文作者所用超声波探头的频率是12MHz,这样检查的精确度可达0.07~0.1mm。超声检查还可发现视网膜皱襞、玻璃体膜及条索与已脱离的视网膜
Oksalus (1957) started using sonography to diagnose retinal detachment and to identify various types of retinal detachment. Ossoinings (1971) systematically introduced ultrasound examination techniques.
