芦笋又叫石刁柏,属百合科多年生草本植物。嫩茎质细,柔软可口,风味芬芳,含有大量氨基酸和维生素,具有特殊的治病防病的药用功效,深受人们喜爱,现已成为世界上十大名菜之一。 我市于1978年引种试种,现在已发展到1.2万亩,其中有0.2万亩投产,平均亩产370公斤,高产田块亩产达1吨以上。每亩收入一般在600元以上,高的达1700元左右。经市罐头厂加工生产的白芦笋罐头,被国家评为银质奖,畅销国内外市场。现将芦笋栽培技术总结如下:
