研究表明:穗长与各爆裂性指标呈显著正相关,对VA/g的直接作用最大,通过其它各性状的间接作用均较小;百粒重虽与VA/粒呈极显著正相关,但与VA/g的负相关系数较大,且对VA/g的直接作用为最大负值;行粒数虽与各爆裂性指标的相关不显著,但对VA/g的直接作用为较大负值;穗行数与VA/粒呈显著负相关,但对VA/g的直接作用及通过其它性状的间接作用均较小;穗粒重与VA/粒呈显著正相关,对VA/g的直接作用为较小正值,通过穗长的间接作用为较大正值。育种中要同时兼顾产量和爆裂性,可直接选择穗粒重,或在适当兼顾穗行数的前提下选择穗长或行粒数,对百粒重则不宜进行正向选择。
