在过去的三十年闻,几乎所有的北美铁路都在循环使用机车柴油机机油。在此期间,机油再生已从简单的过滤法发展到酸-白土处理法以及最近发展的真空蒸馏法。近十年来,机车柴油机排换下来的机油中的添加剂和杂质的含量明显增加。这主要是由于柴油机制造部门提高了柴油机的比功率以及铁路部门延长了柴油机机油的换油周期所致。机油再生部门已经投入大笔资金用于固定设备,以适应新的添加剂技术和防污染控制。由于环境保护及能源问题日益重要,因而满足发动机制造厂家和用户需要的再生油产量将继续增长。
In the past thirty years, almost all of the North American railroads are reusing locomotive diesel engine oil. During this period, oil recovery has evolved from simple filtration to acid-clay treatment and the recent development of vacuum distillation. In the past ten years, the content of additives and impurities in oil discharged by locomotive diesel engines has obviously increased. This is mainly due to the diesel engine manufacturing sector to improve the specific power of diesel engines and the railway department to extend the diesel engine oil drain due to the oil change cycle. The oil regeneration division has invested large sums of money in fixed equipment to accommodate new additive technologies and pollution control. Recycled oil production, which meets the needs of engine manufacturers and users, will continue to grow due to the growing importance of environmental protection and energy issues.
