铁十八局二处有一台美国卡特彼勒公司产的D8L推土机，其履带、支重轮和引导轮已严重磨损达报废程度；平衡梁上的3个销孔（中间销孔与机架连接，两侧销孔与台车架连接）因严重磨损而变大，无法修复；枢轴及其衬套也磨损严重；发动机、变矩器和变速器则刚经过大修，工作时间不长
