The Chinese online edition of The Wall Street Journal on November 7, 2008, published an article by Ana Gupta, a professor at the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, titled “Prospect 2020: The Road to Chinese Innovation.” Prof Gupta is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in innovation, strategic science and organizational science, and his articles have always been of concern to governments and business communities in many countries.
