本研究应用功能性矫治器引导成年大鼠下颌前伸,通过头影测量,游离下颌骨X线片测量,组织学及组织化学等方法对成年大鼠面颌的适应性变化,特别是对髁突适应性改建的潜能进行了评价。结果显示成年大鼠下颌前伸后不能刺激髁突增生和下颌骨长度增长,仅能引起下颌支向后旋转及牙和牙槽区的代偿性反应。本研究结果进一步证实生长发育完成后,面颌骨骼结构的适应性改建潜能降低,因此成年牙颌面骨性畸形患者应选择外科—正畸治疗。
In this study, functional appliance was used to guide mandibular protraction in adult rats. The changes of facial mandibular adaptability in adult rats were measured by cephalometric measurements, free mandibular radiographs, histological and histochemical methods, especially on the condyles The potential of adaptive adaptation was evaluated. The results showed that adult mandibular protraction can not stimulate condylar proliferation and mandibular growth, can only cause mandibular branch rotation and compensatory response of the tooth and alveolar area. The results of this study further confirmed that after the completion of growth and development, the adaptability of facial jaw skeletal structure to reduce the potential reduction, so adult patients with maxillofacial deformity should choose surgical - orthodontic treatment.
