《露天采矿技术》杂志由煤炭科学研究总院沈阳研究院主管,由煤炭科学研究总院沈阳研究院、中煤平朔煤业有限责任公司和神华准格尔能源有限责任公司共同主办的、面向国内外公开发行的、我国露天采矿行业重要的综合性科技刊物。是中国期刊网、《中国学术期刊(光盘版)》、万方数据-数字化期刊群、中文科技期刊数据库全文收录期刊,中国学术期刊综合评价数据库的来源期刊,2002年获应用《中国学术期刊(光盘版)》检索与数据规范优秀奖。从2007年开始被美国《化学文摘》收录。
