现行大学英语的教学目标强调培养、提高学生的听说能力,这在一定程度上顺应了社会和学生的需求。但是,认真分析该目标的内容,发现其中一般要求较低,甚至与高中课程标准要求相近,这不仅影响了学生的学习积极性,同时也造成大学英语教学“费时低效”。鉴于我国大学生的读写能力较低,且难以与学生专业学习相接轨,大学英语教学目标应当重新定位。从长远来看,我们应当大力培养学生的读写能力,特别是专业领域内的英语读写能力。
The current teaching aims of college English emphasize training and improve students’ listening and speaking abilities, which to a certain extent conform to the needs of society and students. However, a careful analysis of the content of this goal and found that the general requirements are lower, even with the high school curriculum standards require similar, not only affects the learning enthusiasm of students, but also result in college English teaching “time-consuming and inefficient ”. In view of our college students ’reading and writing ability is low, and it is difficult to integrate with students’ professional learning, the goal of college English teaching should be repositioned. In the long run, we should vigorously develop students’ ability to read and write, especially in the professional field of English reading and writing skills.
