为适应世界电信业务自由化的潮流及配合台湾当局推动服务业自由化的政策,台湾“交通部”最近宣布开放分组数据交换通信业务及传真转存业务,供民间经营者经营。连同以前开放的加值网络业务项目等共计十项。这样,台湾“文通部电信总局”每年在数据通信业务方面将减少35亿元(新台币)左右的收入。 “电信总局”表示,分组数据通信是指经营者利用“电信局”所提供的机、线设备,连接在电脑等信息或通信设备上,利用分组交换技术开展数据通信业务。传真转存业务是经营者利用“电信局”提供的机、线等设备,提供给用户做文字、图形等传送服务。 另据报道,台“交通部”近日决定同时开放单向和双向的第二代公众数字式无线电话(CT-2),但要求必须遵循欧洲电信标准局(FTSI)的规格。这一决定可望提高民间经营第二代公众数字式无线电话的意愿。 (湘)
