2001年的5月1日,在上海嘉定,在著名国画大师陆俨少的艺术院里,举行了“上海·基辅当代绘画作品展”。虽然这里的地理位置和场馆设施与中国美术馆或是上海美术馆都无法相提并论,然而正是在这样的一个小地方,却举办了一个不同寻常的展览会,一个意义重大的研讨会,一个里程碑式的文化交流活动。这样一个小型的展览会,给我们带来了久违的乌克兰艺术家的精品力作,让我们对知之甚少的乌克兰美术有了一定的了解。 在展览会开幕式的当天下午,由中国美协《美术》杂志社牵头,与陆俨少艺术院和乌克兰国立美术建筑科学院共同举办了一次学术研讨会。会间,中乌两国的艺术家畅所欲言。面对风云跌宕的21世纪,面对西方文化全球化浪潮的冲击,大家对本国的绘画何去何从都各自发表了许多很有见地的看法。纵观本次活动,我们为在世界美术界沉寂多年的乌克兰美术在中国的一次亮相叫好。他们的作品让我们更全面地认知世界美术,也填补了中国与乌克兰美术交流史的一项空白,在世界美术史
On May 1, 2001, in Jiading, Shanghai, the “Shanghai · Kiev Contemporary Painting Exhibition” was held in the art school of renowned Chinese artist Lu Yanshao. Although the location and facilities here are not comparable to those of the National Art Museum of China or the Shanghai Art Museum, it is in such a small area that an unusual exhibition, a significant seminar and a milestone were held Type of cultural exchange activities. During the meeting, artists from China and Ukraine talked freely. Throughout this event, we applauded the appearance of a Ukrainian art with many years of silence in the world art world in China.
