本工作曾在1981年美国Gordon研究討论会高分子组交流对于棒状分子无溶剂多分散体系的热致向列型液晶—各向同性相平衡,本文进行了理论和实验研究。在所研究的体系中,棒状分子具有取向依赖性的相互作用(即各向异性相互作用)。作者就最可几分布和正常分布的情况,给出了数值计算的结果。在实验部分,用化学计量控制的缩聚反应首次合成了低分子量的聚对羟基苯甲酸酣,作为研究的模型化合物,其平均聚合度范围为2.5—4.0。本工作表明,在这种体系中有向列型液晶—各向同性热力学相平衡存在。
In this work, the thermotropic nematic liquid crystal-isotropic phase equilibrium of the solvent-free polydisperse system of polymer molecules in the Gordon Research Symposium of 1981 was studied. Theoretical and experimental studies were carried out in this paper. In the system studied, the rod-shaped molecules have orientation-dependent interactions (ie, anisotropic interactions). The authors give the numerical results for the most probable distribution and normal distribution. In the experimental part, a low molecular weight poly (p-hydroxybenzoic acid) was synthesized for the first time using a stoichiometric-controlled polycondensation reaction. As the model compound studied, the average polymerization degree ranged from 2.5 to 4.0. This work shows that in this system there is a nematic liquid crystal - isotropic thermodynamic equilibrium exists.
