培育优质水曲柳用材林的配套技术，研究结果表明：采用母树林、种子园、雄性无性系采穗圃其子代遗传增益分别为５％，１０％，１２．５％。最适宜生长立地条件是排水良好、土层肥沃的阴坡中部凹形地带，其生长量比其它地形提高７６．９２％。水曲柳最佳混交树种为落叶松，混交方式为带状混交，带宽为５～１０ｍ为宜。水曲柳适宜的造林密度５０００株／ｈｍ２。适宜的庇荫度为４０％。平茬最佳季节在冬季，其萌发率９６．６７％，平茬的部位是根际上部，最佳年龄为３～５年。
