牙病与ED(男性勃起功能障碍)似乎风马牛不相及。然而,据《性医学杂志》刊登土耳其一项新研究发现,患有严重牙病的男性,勃起功能障碍发病危险会翻倍。研究人员分析指出,牙病发生时,细菌会通过牙龈出血点乘虚而入,进入血液系统。细菌进入血液系统之后,就会伤害血管及动脉,导致血管硬化变窄(与心脏病病理相同)。
Dental and ED (male erectile dysfunction) seems irrelevant. However, a new study in Turkey, published in the Journal of Sex Medicine, found that men with severe dental problems could double the risk of erectile dysfunction. The researchers pointed out that when a dental disease occurs, bacteria multiply through the gingival bleeding point and enter the blood system. When bacteria enter the bloodstream, they can injure blood vessels and arteries, resulting in narrowing of the hardening of the arteries (the same pathology as heart disease).
