由传媒和市场合力推动形成的流行文化与出版业的高度市场化与学报界曲高和寡的学术精英意识的夹击,使学术出版日益呈现“边缘化”特征。随着人们对学报核心力的质疑,学报界出现了“读者中心论”与“作者中心论”的论争。“作者中心”与“读者中心”的分歧,实质上是对学报的办刊宗旨的争议,就学术研究的本质与学报的发展来讲,“读者为中心论”是谬误的。小众的学术如何取得大众的接受,需要学术界、学术人的努力。
