企业文化是指企业在生产实践过程中所创造的物质财富与精神财富的总和,但往往又侧重于意识形态以及与之相适应的组织机构和管理制度,或者说是指企业以什么样的意识形态来科学地安排生产力和合理地调整生产关系,以使劳动者和生产资料实现优化组合,为社会创造出更多更好的物质财富和精神财富。“第三次浪潮”的作者阿尔温·托夫勒在“未来的冲击”中写道,“正如一个人能够在各种生活方式中进行有意识的选择一样,一个社会今天也能够自觉选择不同的文化方式。这是历史上的一个新的事实。过去,文化的形式并不经过事先的深思熟虑。今天,我们第一次能够把这一过程提到自觉的高度。通过采取自觉的技术政策(连同其它措施一起),我们可以勾画出明天文化的轮廓。”同样地,企业文化形式也可以经过事先的深思熟虑,并通过自觉地选择来勾画出企业的未来。
Corporate culture refers to the sum of material wealth and spiritual wealth created by an enterprise in the course of production practice.
