青藏铁路的如期通车结束了占全国八分之一国土面积的西藏自治区不通铁路的历史,明显加强了内地与青藏地区在人流、物流各方面的交流与合作,大幅提升青藏铁路沿线区域经济带的热度与潜质。从更加广阔的范围着眼,青藏铁路的建成通车也为建设通向印度洋的新的国际战略大通道奠定了现实基础,为更好地利用国内国际两个市场、两类资源,突破当前困扰国家经济、能源安全的“马六甲困局”提供了现实可能,在这一过程当中,中国的国际影响也势必随着贸易额的稳步增长而不断加强,并有望由此改变南亚地区现有的地缘政治格局。
