I. INTRODUCTION Although there have been many studies in the past on the pressure of the waves exerted on the coasts and marine structures, there are still so many unsolved problems so far. Especially with regard to the crushing wave pressure acting on a cylindrical structure, it is hard to say that very complete results have been obtained because of only the studies by Hetian and Kjeldsen et al. Aida et al. Proposed that the wave pressure acting on a cylindrical structure as a full-wave force (similar to the un-crushed wave pressure) theoretically deduces the shock wave pressure of a wave breakage by using the method suitable for the waterplane problem of a seaplane.
