本研究运用问卷和访谈的方法,调查了10家在华欧美企业120位中国员工之间的主要称呼模式,发现他们的称呼以中英文名字为主,较少使用拟亲属称呼或职衔类称呼;各企业、部门之间的称呼模式存在一定的差异,这可能与其本土化程度有关;场合、会话双方的地位及亲密度在一定程度上影响称呼语的选用,但其作用有限,因为英文名可以不受限制地运用于各种场合。使用名字的称呼模式反映了一种人人平等的企业文化,得到了员工的高度认同。
Using questionnaires and interviews, this study investigates the main pattern of the names of the 120 Chinese employees in 10 Chinese, American and European companies. They find that their names are mainly in both Chinese and English, and seldom use the names of kin or titles. There may be some differences between the calling styles of enterprises and departments, which may be related to their degree of localization. On the occasion, the status and intimacy of the two parties of the conversation will affect the selection of the appellations to a certain extent, but their role is limited because the English name Unrestricted use in a variety of occasions. The use of the name of the salutation model reflects an equal corporate culture, has been highly recognized by staff.
