本文主要论述了艺术美或理想，以及理想对自然的关系。艺术美或理想是内容与形式的统一，是外在形式和心灵的统一。艺术理想的本质就是使外在的事物还原到具有心灵性的事物，因而成为心灵的表现。运用黑格尔理论去论述理想对自然的关系，所谓的“自然”是概念的体现，是外在形式的总和。
