本文介绍了柴油机活塞采用陶瓷热障涂层的理论分析和单缸机试验情况;确定了这种热障涂层对柴油机性能、污染物排放量、排气温度和活塞温度的影响,并与无涂层活塞作了比较。试验发现活塞采用等离子喷涂氧化锆涂层是减少燃气热流传给活塞的一种方法。这种涂层能降低活塞体温度、减少活塞热疲劳、降低冷却要求以及增加可用来改善柴油机总效率的有用的排气热能。用氧化钇稳定剂的等离子喷涂陶瓷涂层可以提高粘附性,只有在涂层太厚的情况下才发生问题。
In this paper, the theoretical analysis of the piston of a diesel engine using ceramic thermal barrier coating and the test of the single-cylinder engine are introduced. The effects of the thermal barrier coating on the diesel engine performance, pollutant emissions, exhaust gas temperature and piston temperature are determined. Coated pistons were compared. It has been found experimentally that using plasma sprayed zirconia coating on the piston is a way to reduce the heat transfer of the gas to the piston. This coating can reduce piston body temperature, reduce piston thermal fatigue, reduce cooling requirements, and increase useful exhaust heat energy that can be used to improve the overall efficiency of a diesel engine. Plasma spraying ceramic coatings with yttria stabilizers improves adhesion and only causes problems if the coating is too thick.
