1987年是中国林学会成立70周年。纪念中国林学会成立70周年大会于1987年12月25日在京隆重举行。国务委员方毅,中国科协名誉主席周培源、林业部部长高德占、中国科协副主席裘维蕃等领导出席了大会,出席大会的还有兄弟学会代表和林业界数百名代表。大会由中国林学会理事长吴中伦主持。裘维蕃、高德占在会上讲了话。农学会方悴农常务副会长代表兄弟学会致贺词。高德占同志在讲话中说:“多年来,中国林学会做了大量卓有成效的工作。事实充分证明,中国林学会是发展我国林业的一支重要力量。学会是一个学术性的群众团体,它具有综合性和横向联系的优势,具有跨地区、跨行业、人才荟萃,知识密集,联系广泛的特点。我们林业部门的各级领导,都要充分重视和发挥学会的
