传统修辞学把语言体系的修辞分化和话语的修辞效果笼统地结合在一起,没有客观而系统地解释和描写存在于语言中的修辞现象,更没有分析这些现象产生的背景。现代修辞学比传统修辞学进了一步,不仅研究语言修辞的手段、修辞方法,还研究整个语言修辞规律。但是,现代修辞学也没有把语言修辞规律的形成及其形成的内在机制当做研究对象。认知修辞学的首要目标就是语言修辞下的认知机制。 In traditional rhetoric, rhetorical differentiation of language system and rhetorical effect of discourse are generally combined together. There is no objective and systematic explanation and description of the rhetorical phenomena existing in the language, nor the background of these phenomena. Modern rhetoric has taken a step further than traditional rhetoric, not only studying the means of rhetoric, rhetorical methods, but also studying the rhetoric of the whole language. However, modern rhetoric does not regard the formation of linguistic rhetoric and the internal mechanism of its formation as the object of study. The primary goal of cognitive rhetoric is the cognitive mechanism under linguistic rhetoric.
