长春市第五十五中学是一所乡镇半寄宿制初中,虽然每天有带班中层和宿舍教师管理几百个寄宿生,但安全责任依然重大。笔者作为校长,出于安全工作考虑,大部分情况下住在学校,便于了解和掌握住宿生的情况。晚自习下课,孩子们都在操场玩耍,笔者去男厕所,每次都能闻到浓重的烟味,便池里也有很多烟头。开始笔者以为是个别教师抽烟,但渐渐发现并非如此,于是开始留意观察,结果仅开学一个月时间,就抓到八名男生在厕所偷偷吸烟。加上其他几个带班领导,这学期竟然有二三十名学 The 55th Middle School in Changchun City is a semi-boarding junior high school in the township.
