清代达斡尔族编入八旗的起始时间目前学术界尚无相关讨论,本文从清初史料所记载天命元年及天聪八年对萨哈连部和虎尔哈部两次征讨出发,讨论了萨哈连部与黑龙江虎尔哈部的关系、萨哈连部与萨哈尔察部的关系,认为萨哈连部属于达斡尔人,并通过两次征讨的史实,推论天聪八年即1635年部分萨哈连部达斡尔人被编入八旗,1635年即为达斡尔族编入八旗的起始时间。
