桂北武装起义,是解放战争时期中国共产党领导下的华南武装起义的组成部分。这一起义动摇了国民党桂系在桂北及广西的统治基础,牵制了国民党桂系的部分兵力,支援了全国解放战场和人民解放军的战略进攻。也为桂北游击队发展壮大以及桂北游击根据地的创建巩固奠定了民众和干部基础。
The armed uprising in northern Guangxi is an integral part of the armed uprising in southern China under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party during the War of Liberation. This uprising shaken Kuomintang’s Gui-line basis in northern Guangxi and Guangxi and restrained some of Guomindang’s Gui-line troops and supported the strategic offensive of the National Liberation Front and the People’s Liberation Army. It also laid the foundation for the masses and cadres for the fact that the guerrillas in Gui North China have grown and guerrilla bases in north Guangxi have been established and consolidated.
