400例40岁以下、已婚、已育、对孕酮无禁忌证的健康妇女予Norpant皮下埋植剂避孕，1、2、3、4和5年累积续用率分别为93．50％、89．25％、82．00％、74．75％和72．25％，5年累积妊娠率为0，主要副反应和终止使用原因为月经紊乱。说明该埋植剂具有很强的可逆性和安全性。
