为了顺应时代的发展和需求,1943年我国高校中第一个培养本科生的造船系在交通大学创建。它继承和发扬了交通大学优良的办学传统,紧跟国际办学步伐,形成了独特的人才培养模式并持续发展,在建国前后培养了一大批优秀的造船工程人才,为新中国的船舶与海洋发展作出了卓越贡献,造船系也在交通大学成为特色系科,并由此奠定了其在中国高等工程教育史中的历史地位。
In order to comply with the development and demand of the times, the first shipbuilding department to train undergraduates in China’s universities in 1943 was established at Jiaotong University.
