葛洲坝水利枢纽于1970年元月动工,1971年4月建成第一期围堰工程,二、三江断流。1981年元月4日大江截流,同年5月开始蓄水,水位从46m分三次蓄到60m;1983年5月又分三级升高到63.5m;1986年6月蓄水位又抬高到66m。考虑葛洲坝枢纽系迳流式电站,蓄水后对下游河道的影响不太长,此次仅对宜昌(宜34)~陈家湾(荆29)全长133km河段进行河道冲淤分析。应用1957年~1985年所测二十个测次共计951个固定断面资料进行冲淤量计算。计算分10000m~3/s流量下的基本河槽;30000m~3/s流量下包括一般边滩在内的河槽;50000m~3/s流量下的平滩水位下的河槽。在分析河道历年冲淤变化时,根据
Gezhouba Dam started construction in January 1970, and the first cofferdam project was completed in April 1971, with the second and third rivers breaking off.
