使用历史地图进行教学是历史教学法中的一个重要方面.历史地图能把历史现象或历史事件发生和发展的时间、空间及地理环境有机地联系起来,给学生以深刻的印象.历史地图显示历史现象和事件,还具有明确的相关性和直观性特点.教学时,使用历史地图能弥补语言和文字上的不足,收到良好的教学效果.由于目前出版的教学用图不多,许多历史教师根据教学需要往往自己动手编绘.本文仅就编绘这种地图的几个主要问题,谈谈自己的体会.一历史教学地图的特点历史教学地图按其用途可分为两类:一是课堂讲授用的教学挂图;一是帮助学生自修、复习用的普通历史地图.编绘时均须注意下述各点:
