即使是对于心理学家来说,人类的创造性活动都是一个很难解释清楚的事情。作为父母,我们更加关心的可能是:在培养孩子的创造力方面,我们能做些什么?我们所以选择“交流的方式”这样一个问题来进行探讨,是因为它并不难理解,并且,它实实在在地存在于生活当中。儿童心理学和社会心理学的大量研究表明,父母的行为方式甚至教养态度对儿童的精神世界有着巨大的影响。但父母对于孩子创造力的影响并不一定存在着一种——对应的关系。有些研究甚至表明,如果父母的创造力测验成绩低,孩子的创造力成绩反而更高。因此,在培养儿童的创造力方面,仅仅只是潜移默化地影响孩子看来是不够的。在与孩子的交往过程中,不仅要关心我们正在做什么,更要关心我们应该怎样做?怎样与孩子交流才最有利于他们创造潜能的发挥?

It therefore seems inadequate to nurture a child’s creativity merely by subtly affecting the child. In the process of interaction with children, we should not only care about what we are doing, but also care about what we should do. How to communicate with children is most conducive to their creative potential?
