本文围绕公平与效率问题,从在校生的家庭背景构成、毕业生工作找寻时间长短以及毕业生在劳动力市场上的就业状况等角度实证考察了我国城镇中等职业教育发展的阶段性特征。研究结果表明,虽然教育类型在复制人们现有的社会经济等级结构上起了重要的作用,但相比较而言,教育的层级而不是教育的类型在影响社会分层方面起了更决定性的作用;尚没有明显的证据表明中国的中职教育相比普通高中教育缺少效率。
This paper focuses on the issues of fairness and efficiency, and examines the stage characteristics of the development of secondary vocational education in urban areas in China from the point of view of the family background of the students, the search time of graduates and the graduates’ employment status in the labor market. The results show that although the type of education plays an important role in replicating the existing socio-economic hierarchy of people, comparatively speaking, rather than the type of education, education plays a more decisive role in influencing social stratification There is no clear evidence that China’s secondary vocational education lacks efficiency compared to ordinary senior secondary education.
