一、吴昌硕“寓方于圆”的画中之石以吴昌硕成熟期的花乌画作品来看:造型上若是近景之石,多以不规则石形出现,鲜少有方正之形,远景之石则通常以“立柱、假山之石”等造型出现。大多呈现竖长高耸状,石头顶部缓和圆润,与篆字转折有相似之处,偶有尖顶亦是相对平顺;部分低矮的石头常出现在画面下部且以不规则造型为主。从笔墨来讲,其画法以淡墨晕染为主,注重与周围植物的融合,墨色温润、弱化顽石的刚硬之感
