大便是我们所吃的食物除去养分后留下的残渣。食物经过咀嚼吞咽,到胃里进行消化。来不及在胃里消化的食物,会在小肠和大肠内充分消化并被吸收。食物由小肠进入大肠时,呈很稀的流质。大肠将食物中的水分吸收之后,食物残渣聚集成一团并被推挤到大肠的末端,经由肛门排出,成为在便。身体健康时会排出块状的大便;身体疲劳或生病时,因为肠的功能降低,就会排出稀状的大便。 Stool is the residue of food we eat after removing nutrients.
