In order to extend the life of the blast furnace and improve production efficiency, based on the provincial technical appraisal, a promotion meeting of blast furnace grouting and lining technology was held in Liuzhou Iron and Steel Plant of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from June 9 to June 1992. The meeting was jointly held by the State Science and Technology Commission and the Ministry of Metallurgy. 66 representatives from 41 key enterprises ironworks, 14 local backbone ironworks and some local ironworks attended the meeting.
