Slurry Fischer-Iropsch/SM-5 two-stage process of converting syngas into gasoline was developed. Effect of reactor-wax withdrawal on catalyst activity and reactor performance was investigated. Long-term test of precipitated 100Fe/3.0Cu/0.4K catalyst for slurry F-T reaction was run for 1000 h, during which influence of operation conditions on catalyst performance was also examined. Product distribution of this two-stage process was found to shift toward low carbon numbers with time on stream due to the decline of catalytic activity in the run.
