《通俗常言疏证》分四十卷,辑录词条总计5 978条,其中辑录涉＂儿＂词目93个,包括重复条目14个,不重复条目79个,儿缀词74个。主要就该书辑录词目中儿缀词的句法结构类型和语法功能进行研究。
