提高飞行器的突防和生存能力可通过控制其雷达信号特征来实现。为降低其RCS,应优化飞行器外形,力求将正面波反射到雷达接收机的其它方向,但这种做法对于有多个闪烁点的飞行器是不适用的。要消除这些闪烁点,就要采用可以吸收电磁波的特殊材料。在简要回顾促使RCS变化的物理现象后,描述了结构吸波材料的基本原理和满足飞行器一般要求的吸波材料系列,最后用实例介绍了某些吸波材料的衰减特性
Raising the penetration and survivability of an aircraft can be achieved by controlling its radar signature. In order to reduce its RCS, the aircraft shape should be optimized to try to reflect the frontal wave to other directions of the radar receiver, but this approach is not suitable for aircraft with multiple flicker points. To eliminate these flickering points, we must use special materials that can absorb electromagnetic waves. After a brief review of the physical phenomena that led to RCS changes, the basic principles of structural absorbing materials and the series of absorbing materials that meet the general requirements of aircraft are described. Finally, the attenuation characteristics of some absorbing materials are described by examples
