The year 1999 was a crucial year for the state to implement a breakthrough in the “pressing, reorganization, reduction of staff, and efficiency enhancement” of the textile industry. Nantong Textiles will take the adjustment as the main line, seize the opportunities at the end of the century, optimize the reorganization of existing assets, and upgrade the technological progress of the industry. In terms of organizational structure adjustment and asset restructuring, Nantong Spinners will play a “three big battles”, namely: (1) to establish a Daisheng Group with cotton textile, chemical fiber, printing and dyeing as the main body; (2) to establish a clothing-based Sanyou Group; (3) The formation of yarn-dyed (group) companies mainly engaged in dyeing, dyeing and finishing.
