《婚丧喜庆一本通》(中国画报出版社2011年11月第1版)一书中写道:“女子生日。古代诞生礼俗,生了女孩就在门的右侧挂一幅佩巾——悦,后因称生女为悬悦,女子生日即称为悬悦之辰。”(第336页)其中三处“悦”均为“蜕”之误。悦,读作shui,指古时的佩巾。古代,孩子一出生,就得向有关人员报告喜讯。这一传递喜讯的过程就被称为报喜礼。据《礼记·内则》:“子生,男子设弧于门左,女子设帨于门右。”这就是最早的报喜礼形
