Lynn: Jeremy, hey! ①Fancy meeting you here. I’m actually here to meet Dan for the first time and I’m pretty nervous about it. We’ve been chatting for weeks now, as you’re well aware, so I can’t believe I’m finally gonna see him face to face.
  Jeremy: Yeah, about that…I…
Lynn: ②And how perfect is it that you’re here to give him the once over, to make sure he’s as much of a gentleman in person as he is online? I can’t imagine he’d be anything other, could you?
Jeremy: Well, I can promise you won’t have to worry about how genuine his feelings are.
Lynn: And why is that, pray tell?
Jeremy: Because I know for a fact that he truly cares about you and would never, ever hurt you.
Lynn: How could you know all this?
  Jeremy: That’s the thing…I…
  Lynn: I know.
  Jeremy: You do?
  Lynn: Yeah, it’s pretty obvious.
Jeremy: How’d you figure it out?
Lynn: How else could you know all these things about him and his feelings for me? You obviously became friends with him under a fake name, to make sure that he was a good guy. ③You’re always looking out for me and I appreciate your concern. But I trust him, and you should too.
Jeremy: Of course I trust him, I AM him!!
  Lynn: You’re what?
Jeremy: I’m him. He’s me. We are one in the same.
Lynn: But how is that possible? How could you betray me like this?
Jeremy: Because I love you, and—
  Lynn: You what?
Jeremy: I didn’t have the courage to tell you. You’ve always seen me as just a friend, and I was afraid I’d be stuck in the friend zone forever. Seeing you date other guys and hearing the stories you’d tell about the way they treated you, it just broke my heart again and again and I couldn’t take it anymore.
Lynn: That still doesn’t give you the right to pull me into some 1)deceptive plot of 2)seduction. I’m not some stupid mark you can con into bed.
Jeremy: How long have we known each other? I’d like to think you know me better than that by now.
Lynn: I thought I did. I thought we were friends. But now I just feel lost and alone. I don’t know up from down, right from wrong.
Jeremy: You are not alone. Please try to understand. I’ve had a crush on you for as long as I can remember. But I’ve also been your friend this whole time too, and that is never going to change. I just wanna be more intimate with you. I want to 3)snuggle up at night when it’s cold, or I could hold your hair back when you feel like you’re gonna throw up. Lynn: Ewwww…

Jeremy: I wanna be your go-to guy. Just gimme a chance…
Lynn: I…I…I need some time to think. I’ll message you later. And I mean Jeremy, not Dan.
