The ancient Egyptians believed that human life would continue after death and that complete bodies were necessary for the soul to inhabit in the afterlife and therefore were equally concerned with the preservation of the dead and with the good health they had before their death. Making mummies is a peculiar tradition of ancient Egypt and a legacy left by ancient Egyptian civilization for later generations. However, the ancient Egyptians did not leave behind for mummification methods for the generations to make a record, so, revealing the secrets of mummies has become the focus of many scientists. Recently, researchers at Texas A & H University claimed they have uncovered the mummy’s secrets.
